Laptop Batteries

Is my laptop battery covered under warranty?

Laptop batteries are NOT covered by our warranty cover.

Once you purchase a laptop with us it may have up to 1 Years Manufacturer’s Warranty (subject to misuse). If the battery needs to be replaced within this time period, it may be valid for a free replacement. Please note: This is from the date that is included on your invoice.

If it is after 1 Year, the manufacturer will not cover this and a new battery will be chargeable.

Please contact us for the manufacturer’s details. You can then contact them directly or we can do this on your behalf if you wish.

Please note: Should you decide to purchase a replacement battery, it must be a genuine manufacturer replacement. If a replacement is bought and it is not a genuine manufacturer’s product, this will null and void your maintenance with Concept Northern. Concept Northern also does not recommend the use of universal power adapters.

Please contact our Technical Support Team. They will then assess your technical issues and may offer you a quote to replace the battery.

If the issue persists after a battery replacement, it likely indicates an internal hardware problem which may be covered by our mechanical breakdown warranty. If this is the case, we would then swap out the hardware that is broken or find a suitable replacement laptop for you. We will also refund you the amount paid for the new battery.
